Campione del Garda

Is a little gem set in the Alto Garda Bresciano Park, on the splendid Riviera dei Limoni, just a few kilometres from Salò and Gargnano. It lies on the coast road engraved around the banks of the lake, carved from the bare rock by local pioneers a century ago at the foot of the community of Tremosine.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Limone sul Garda

The small village was built around the picturesque harbour and has the typical charm of a fishing village. The beautiful palaces and the small alleys in the old town centre, which clamber up the steep slopes of the Dosso dei Roveri, enchanted famous men as Goethe, Lawrence and Ibsen.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Riva del Garda

Situated in the north-west of Lake Garda, Riva del Garda is a very lively town, perfect for sport and outdoor life enthusiasts: sailing, windsurfing, kite surfing, scuba diving, canoeing and mountain biking are just some of the activities you can practice here.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Salò

The small town in the south-west is embedded in a long bay and has thus got the longest walkway of any town an the Lake. The historic old town, which dates back to the Middle Ages, is ideal for shopping and strolling around as many of the elegant and chic shops invite you to linger. Salo's local cuisine is also well known, in particular the fish specialities served in numerous restaurants are truly delicious.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Food and wine

From ancient times local inhabitants have always enjoyed a very varied diet provided by Nature according to its changing seasons. Despite the passage of time, today the flavours of lake and mountain are still the backbone of local cuisine. Cheese and charcuterie production methods also cling to their ancient traditions. Abundant flowers in the alpine pastures give the milk a particularly delicious flavour, providing a wide range of specialities for every palate: fresh and mature cheeses, yoghurt, ricotta and butter.

MART - Rovereto

Futurism, Pop Art, Realism and great exhibitions: Mart in Rovereto is one of the most interesting museums on the Italian scene. The Mart of Trento and Rovereto is one of Italy's most interesting museums. The main building of the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Rovereto is located on Corso Bettini, between two 18th century aristocratic mansions called Palazzi Alberti and houses a very important art collection ranging from Futurism to Pop Art, Arte Povera and Realism.

 

MUSE - Trento

MUSE is a place of constant change, from the main exhibitions, up to date with the latest developments, to special projects, with prestigious national and international collaborations, and finally to MUSE Lab, where the most advanced experiments in the field of new technologies take place.

 

Vittoriale

The Vittoriale is a citadel surrounded by walls which stretches over an area of nine hectares plus a tower-dock by the sea about a hundred metres from it. The Vittoriale is an extremely complex monument made up of a number of buildings: a big Amphitheatre (the biggest in the Lake Garda area with about 1,500 seats), paths, squares, hangars, gardens and parks with fountains, streams and an artificial lake. The house, called Prioria by Gabriele D'Annunzio, has remained exactly as the poet furnished it. Thousands of furnishings, works of art and relics, which remind us of Gabriele D'Annunzio's heroic life, are still preserved in the various rooms. The Vittoriale - one of Italy's most visited museums (about 200,000 visitors per year).
